Incredible fresh Sushi. Really helpful staff, inexpensive and super tasty. Felt like a lot of care was taken and it was presented so well for a take away. They even gave us a complementary Miso and desert. We will definitely be going back. Sorry no photos, too busy walloping the lot.

Very good sushi restaurant but uneven quality: some days it's delicious, others the fish seems a little less fresh. The setting is very narrow but that's not a problem, the majority of people order takeaway.

A wonderful, tiny spot for super fresh, delicious Japanese food. Sushi was excellent, as was the bento. Very friendly owner. Very much recommended.

The quality of the fish has clearly declined compared to before, and the service has become frosty, almost unpleasant. Despite an empty restaurant, the owner removed my friend's dish and dessert even though I had not even finished my meal. We were also surprised to see that we were charged 1 euro per glass for hot water, even though I had simply asked to refill my cup after having tea.

The dishes at the top, very beautiful presentation, fresh products of good quality. On the other hand, the welcome was not warm, too bad. We have the impression that as soon as we finish our dish we have to leave: the boss took away my desert that I was just finishing eating 😬 very disturbing situation. The atmosphere with the paintings makes for a sad atmosphere....I think it's better to order the meal at home.

05/08/2024: We had a very pleasant time at Shu. The place is very cozy and intimate. You will find real Japanese culture there, in the food, the service but also the atmosphere. Without a doubt, you will find excellence on your plate in the different dishes that the Chef offers (7-course menu) but also in your glass (wide range of Sake). I highly recommend.
17/07/2024: It was an interesting experience to try the kushiage concept (Japanese deep fried food on a stick). We took the 58€ menu to have the sashimi, sushi and palate cleanser on top of the basic 48€ menu. The frying technique was good, crispy, no soggy (except the scallop). But not much flavors lingering in my mind though, or maybe we are too used to french dishes which always pair the main ingredients with the sauce to elevate the flavors. In any case, worth a try for the concept. Ps: we really liked their green mustard

14/06/2024: “Discovered” this restaurant, although it has been open for 3 years. Pleasantly surprised by simple and tasty cuisine. Menu limited to 4 or 5 bentos at lunchtime; “tapas” are unfortunately only served in the evening. Note: the (Japanese) wife of the (French) cook made a nice little selection of Japanese sakes 😉
05/06/2024: I had the lunch menu. The price was good and the food was delicious.
