KONFUCIUS sur La Norville

The restaurant is nicely renovated, but the concept has changed since the renovations. We're disappointed because the Thai specialties and the taste aren't the same as before… it's a shame. Now, Japanese dishes that you can find elsewhere are also on the menu. The service is very good, however. We probably won't go this far again for a quality we can find elsewhere. Finally, the set menu price is quite high.

As regulars of the old concept, we particularly appreciated the unique setting that allowed us to escape for the duration of a meal. Today, we are much less taken with the new, more modern decor, as well as the tablet-based service, reminiscent of modern all-you-can-eat buffets. In our opinion, the restaurant has lost its soul. Despite the staff remaining as pleasant as ever, we haven't embraced this new approach and haven't found the flavors we loved so much. Too many dishes have disappeared, notably the fish skewers with lemongrass sauce, the meat skewer with peanut sauce, and the jasmine flan. Perhaps it would be worthwhile to reintroduce some of the signature dishes from the old menu, or to offer a "back to basics" menu highlighting the recipes and atmosphere that made you successful. This would satisfy both new customers and regulars who cherish the restaurant's historical identity.

A very pleasant new tablet-based service concept with table service and an à la carte menu. The food was excellent, and the desserts were of good quality. I recommend it for a great time with family or friends.

Yum yum and yum again, these eels didn't die in vain

This is my first time here since the reopening. Today the dining room is modernized, and even though I'm nostalgic for the old decor, this reopening is a complete success. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the comfort is superb. A huge thank you to the team for offering such a high-quality all-you-can-eat restaurant with table service. I only have one word: BRAVO!

The new decor is superb, and the all-you-can-eat concept served at the table is intriguing! But the orders arrive quickly, hot, and so delicious!!! We especially loved the caviar sushi and, above all, the truffle sushi!! ❤️❤️ Nothing to complain about, it was a truly wonderful discovery. We'll be back and highly recommend it.

From the moment you step inside, you're transported by the enchanting and incredibly Instagrammable decor: mirrors, turquoise lotus flowers, subtle pink flamingos, soft lighting… the atmosphere is magical, elegant, and exotic all at once! The meal was a veritable festival of Asian flavors: perfectly crispy shrimp, exceptionally tender beef with peppers and onions, impeccable wok-fried noodles, rich and balanced saucy dishes, not to mention the appetizers and side dishes, each more delicious than the last. Everything was fresh, generous, and beautifully presented. The service was attentive, friendly, and efficient despite the crowds. We enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Truly one of the best Asian (fusion?) experiences in the region! We will definitely be back and recommend it 200%.
