KONFUCIUS sur La Norville

The decor is fantastic. And the food is delicious.

After several months of closure, we made an initial attempt upon reopening, which was unsuccessful due to the change in menu and a malfunction in the order-taking system… This lunchtime, we tried again, and it was a completely different experience… the tablet-based order management system is now well-established and working perfectly, even with a full dining room… The servers are as friendly as ever, and the dishes arrive in under 10 minutes. The food is delicious, high-quality, and full of flavor. I still miss the old atmosphere, but you've convinced us to come back today.

A huge disappointment with this new Konfucius. It used to be warm and welcoming, with excellent, varied, and delicious set menus that were 100% Thai. Everything has changed. The atmosphere is (very) cold and noisy. They use a tablet-style system to order as you go, which completely disrupts the flow of the meal, in my opinion. And there's a time limit: after 10:30 pm, you can't order (with a countdown timer on the tablet!). Furthermore, it's no longer 100% Thai but a rather incongruous Thai/Japanese mix. Finally, the bill is much higher than before. In short, it might be a popular concept, but it's such a shame that the Konfucius that was truly fantastic is gone. I used to go there regularly, but I'll never go back. This place no longer corresponds at all to my idea of ​​a pleasant and authentic restaurant like the one I knew before. Sorry and best of luck.

The food is delicious and served very quickly, which is great! 👌🏻 The owner is very friendly. The only downside is that the charm and decor of the old Konfucius have completely disappeared. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the food.

Excellent restaurant! There were nine of us, and there was a good selection on the tablet. The service was very fast, and the dishes were consistently excellent from one course to the next, even on the sixth course! (This is rare in semi-gastronomic restaurants, as by the third or fourth course it often becomes chaotic, with items either missing or taking too long.) But here, there's nothing to complain about. Bravo! The food is truly delicious, and I highly recommend this restaurant. I also really loved the decor, especially the aquarium with the koi carp. One negative point: the beef is not halal. Hopefully, this will change soon 😉

Reopening with a brand new concept and stunning new decor! It's now an all-you-can-eat Thai and Japanese restaurant! The service is very fast. You select what you want on a tablet and the dishes are served very quickly. The food is fresh and delicious. For an all-you-can-eat concept, the quality of the food is truly exceptional. Plus, there's a wide variety of choices. We had a wonderful meal and thoroughly enjoyed it.
