Krok sur Verdun

Hello everyone, I'm writing to tell you what people are saying about Krok. My husband and I go there; they're very, very pleasant and the meals are excellent. And I'm not being presumptuous; before writing, go see the owner because it's not true. Until next time, see you soon.

Small establishment, but the food is good, real home-cooked meals, and the people are pleasant and cheerful.

We received a very warm welcome; the staff were excellent and always smiling. The meal was delicious and plentiful. Thank you for a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning on our next vacation.

The welcome was friendly, the service good, and the quality too. As for the quantity and their prices, I was shocked... For example, €4.90 for a Kir, €8.50 for a case of red wine, €2.50 a bottle of Côtes du Rhône, €7.50 for three scoops of ice cream with whipped cream. It's frankly ripping off customers... I strongly advise against this establishment because of such prices; in Verdun, there are places that are just as good and much cheaper... Sincerely

Great place!! This restaurant is run by a Pole. In addition to typical French and American dishes (steaks, hamburgers, hot dogs), they also serve Polish dishes. You can also try pierogi or goulash. I recommend the signature dish, the krok. It's ground beef steak with fried bacon and mushrooms, served with delicious fries and a salad. The place is definitely safe, though – right next door is a police station, whose officers are regular customers. I highly recommend it!
