⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true step back in time! If you're looking for an authentic restaurant, the kind you used to find, with real character and history, don't hesitate to stop here. A very hearty and generous meal: soup, cold appetizer, hot appetizer, meat, dessert… You'll leave feeling more than satisfied! 😄 And all this at an absolutely unbeatable price. Personally, this meal brought back memories of my youth, those old-fashioned inns where you could eat simply, heartily, and with a smile. It's truly a pleasure to find this kind of place again. The service is brisk, efficient, and above all, very warm. The staff are lovely and really contribute to the atmosphere. In short, the kind of place we wish we saw more of: authentic, generous, friendly, and unpretentious. A huge congratulations to the whole team, we had a wonderful time! ❤️ I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to rediscover the taste of old-fashioned restaurants!

We stopped at this inn by chance; it was on our route. We were delighted by the warm welcome and the authentic setting. The menus we chose were truly delicious. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

After visiting Mauvezin Castle (which I also highly recommend), this inn is a hidden gem... the owners and cooks (a spry couple, 94 and 95 years old, in excellent health) gave us a warm welcome with an incredible team of two smiling and incredibly passionate waitresses. You might drive right past this inn without even noticing it (oops!!!)... but you absolutely must stop... the menu is authentic, unpretentious, and served in the traditional way (shared dishes for the table, napkins, tablecloths, pitchers... everything! 🥳🥰). And the dishes are delicious, always including a soup (seasonal vegetables), hors d'oeuvres (or amuse-bouches for the purists 😂), main courses, and desserts... Oh, and by the way... everything is homemade by this couple (from the chopped vegetables in the soup of the day to the pie and cream). If you're looking for good, authentic food... go for it!

A delightful old-fashioned restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I was able to introduce my children to the type of restaurant I used to go to with my parents when I was little! It was delicious!

Wow! If you are in the area don't miss the typically old fashioned french restaurant. Great food, lovely atmosphere, friendly family run place. 5*. We'll be back. You don't need huge choice of food when the table d'hote is like this.

A typical local spot. This restaurant has been in the same family for four generations. Authentic and generous homemade cuisine. Five-course menu for 16 or 24 euros. We will gladly return.

A place seemingly frozen in time, which must have been around for at least 80 years, with a hearty menu made from simple recipes using fresh, local ingredients, inspired by 1950s home cooking. In short, a very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended! Reservations are recommended!
