Great restaurant, a real treat!

A secluded but beautiful spot, delicious food, and excellent service. I will definitely return if I'm in the area again.

Very good, no complaints about the food or the service, and the dining room is very pleasant. The only downside was that we had booked online for 11:30 am, and unfortunately, we were very bluntly told, "But it's 11:30 am, we don't serve before noon, we're on break!! What do you want us to do, come in?" Well, yes, madam, it's cold outside, and we're sorry to interrupt your break; we only booked online! I think it would be good to coordinate the booking times on the website with the staff on site. We were very uncomfortable, but apart from that, everything went well.

We came for brunch, we were delighted and we will be back!

A perfect brunch!!! Excellent welcome from the whole team! Very pleasant dining room, elegant atmosphere. The brunch is truly top-notch, and the value for money is excellent. For €27.50, you get a hot drink, pastries, a savory plate (the salmon gravlax was excellent), a hot dish (I recommend their avocado toast with delicious olive oil), and finally a dessert plate. I highly recommend it 😊. The locals from Nice!

Disappointed by my experience at this restaurant, I do not recommend it on Sundays. Passing through Montélimar with my family and children, I chose this place for its varied menu, including burgers and prepared dishes. My first disappointment was the very limited Sunday menu, which didn't include burgers for children, and this wasn't mentioned on the website. We politely asked if it was possible to get one, and the manager condescendingly replied that it wasn't, but that we could go to McDonald's if we wanted. I just hope their burgers are better than McDonald's, because a €20 bistro burger is normally much better. My second disappointment was the noisy and very cold dining room, the small staff, and the slow service. We waited 20 minutes for our appetizers and ate with our jackets on. Final surprise: the portion of pasta was small, and the beef polpetta was raw inside. For me, it was cooked well, but at the very least, they should ask the customer how they like it cooked. I didn't even enjoy it. I certainly won't be going back.

A wonderful moment shared to celebrate a retirement; the food, service, and atmosphere were impeccable. We will definitely use their services again.

We had lunch at the Carré Papillon restaurant in Montélimar on Saturday, November 1st, 2025, for our annual family reunion. There were 29 adults and 4 children. We had a choice of 3 starters, 3 main courses, cheese, and 3 desserts. The reservation and everyone's choices were finalized about 8-10 days in advance so the chef could best prepare. After a warm welcome from the very friendly staff, we were shown to a private room where 4 large round tables with beautiful white tablecloths awaited us. After an aperitif, we were served the starters. The choices were deviled eggs, salmon rillettes, and mushroom tart. Everyone enjoyed them; they were very good. Next came the main course. The choices were braised beef shoulder, chicken ballotine, or ling fillet. Everything was delicious and very well accompanied. Afterwards, a cheese course was served, and then we moved on to dessert. And once again, it was a delight. The chocolate mousse with its hardened chocolate topping was, as they say, to die for! In short, this succulent, high-quality meal, including wine by the carafe, at €30 per person, will leave us with wonderful memories. My entire family—brothers, sister, nephews, nieces, etc.—were unanimous in their praise of this excellent restaurant, very well located with ample parking. Congratulations to the chefs, staff, and everyone else involved. We will be back.
