We stumbled upon this restaurant located on a very pretty little square in Nîmes, in one of the pedestrian areas. We received a warm welcome, the dishes and desserts were delicious – a truly excellent find!

While in Nîmes on a business trip, we walked into this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist, and it was a wonderful discovery: the food was excellent and the service (Matthieu) was very pleasant. I highly recommend it; we will be back.

Every time we come to Nîmes, we have lunch at L'Esclafidou. Everything on the daily menu is delicious and original, from the appetizer to the dessert. Impeccable service from Mathieu, always with a smile.

03/04/2026: Friendly welcome, good food, quiet and welcoming place.
23/03/2026: We came to eat on a Sunday evening (election night) on the street where the town hall is located... The atmosphere was certainly lively! 😂 We were in Nîmes for a funeral and chose Le Ménestrel after searching for good restaurants in Nîmes. Well, it wasn't just good, no! It was excellent in every way! 👍 Not to mention the kindness of the owners. 😀 We'll definitely be back! 😉👌

30/10/2025: My wife and I had a great time. The ribeye steak and fries were excellent. My wife's salmon was perfect, and the apple crumble was amazing! The portions were very generous. We should come back more often. Thank you both.
