While passing through the region, we found this gem; everything was perfect: a smiling waitress, generous portions, and excellent value for money. A pleasure!

For our first visit, we ate very well and had a lovely time. I recommend the Ham Hock and the Captain's Flan. Not to mention the other dishes. I hope to return... The setting and decor are magnificent. Best of luck.

A lovely, rustic establishment with hanging hops and lots of antique utensils. The food is equally rustic (endives gratin, for example – that's what I had – delicious!). The desserts are generous and flavorful (the gourmet coffee selection was varied and plentiful). "chat gpt" recommended this restaurant to me: excellent advice! It's right halfway between Lille and Dunkirk. I highly recommend it!

We come to Hazewinde regularly; we always feel very comfortable there, with great background music and very friendly staff. And above all, the food is excellent. The cuisine is superb and plentiful; the Flemish carbonnade is to die for, as are other specialties, and the desserts are delicious. A fantastic place.
