L' OUSTALOUN sur Maussane-Les-Alpilles

We went to the restaurant, the welcome was warm and friendly. The dishes we chose were excellent. A place to remember and recommend.

Hello, we had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. The welcome was warm, the food delicious, and the decor original. For a first visit, we were delighted. I recommend the restaurant 100%. I will gladly return with other friends and my family.

Memorable dinner in a beautiful setting, food was perfect and the service was excellent. Very friendly and professional. We started by sharing the vegetarian board “L’Oustaloun” - gently grilled eggplant, roasted red pepper, cool cream of courgette and basil, a carrot custard with a drizzle of olive oil, vegetable springrolls with balsamic reduction of sorts, herbed potatoes, fresh bread and green salad. Our mains were grilled whitefish (asian influenced sauce) and steak bearnaise (both perfectly executed) each accompanied by beautiful seasonal symphony of vegetables. Must mention the dessert, which was quite simply the best I have ever had. The perfect ending to a perfectly balanced meal- A simple buttery cookie base, piped strawberry curd (tart and unmistakably strawberry ) meringue (crispy on the outside marshmallowy on the inside ,not too sweet) candied lemon peel, finely minced fresh strawberry and fine ribbons of strawberry coulis DIVINE!! The chef/pastry chef at L’Oustaloun deserve high praise. Thank you!!We cannot wait to return!

A very pleasant hotel with a superb breakfast. The restaurant is beautiful and their menu is a delight, featuring truly homemade dishes. The terrace is lovely, overlooking a magnificent square. My only advice is to come and discover this establishment; you'll have a truly wonderful stay. Thank you to the whole team! 🫶🏻

I don't know about the hotel, but you can go to the restaurant without hesitation. We received a very warm welcome on the terrace, but the interior is magnificent. And the service continued in the same vein. The homemade food was excellent (chicken spring rolls, brandade Parmentier). The ice cream (raspberry, lime) was superb!

Tastefully renovated hotel, ideally located in the center of Maussane, comfortable room and full breakfast. I have very fond memories of my stay at this hotel in Maussane.

The restaurant has a very good food and it is a pleasure to come back every time. Reservations are recommended, but they accept walk-ins as well, especially during warmer months when they also have outdoor seating.
