The setting is exceptional,
What can we say about the cooking… cooking the onglet as desired, a very comforting dish, a little extra for the shallot confit! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

In the Ile de Ré, “La Baleine Bleue” stands in splendor,
Where, once, a thousand delights filled every heart.
As an aperitif, an Aperol Spritz promised exquisite delight,
Alas, no bubbles, and Prosecco, the absence was misunderstood.
From the start, charcuterie and rillettes dazzled our senses,
A preamble of divine flavors, moments of rejoicing.
Then came, majestic, the rib of beef smoked in its heat,
A fragrant feast, overflowing with taste, exalting hard work.
Thus, "The Blue Whale", fragile balance between azure and earth,
Dazzled by the substance, despite a Spritz in sincere dismay.
Meat in abundance, in these places, adorns itself with excellence,
In an exceptional setting, an eloquent gourmet adventure.
