I recommend it.
14/11/2025: Simply sublime. A romantic evening in a warm and inviting atmosphere with the fireplace. We ordered the wild sea bass for two. A real treat. The cooking was perfect, the fish of exceptional quality. The wine, a Burgundy Hautes Côtes de Nuits, Château Charles, was sublime. Everything was perfect. The waiter was exceptionally kind and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/07/2026: A wonderful discovery, unfortunately a little late in our stay.
Excellent restaurant.
We ate dinner on the shaded terrace...it was lovely and breezy 👍
We had made a reservation, which was necessary, as both the terrace and the indoor dining room were full!
We had an "Éclade de moules" (mussels baked in a scallop shell) served with homemade fries.
The staff and owner were attentive and helpful.
We'll be back 🚲 next year! I highly recommend it.

The service was pleasant, the staff very attentive and explained the menu items clearly!
The food was INCREDIBLE, with excellent ingredients and high-quality ingredients!

Thank you for this fabulous experience and for the generous helping of salted caramel! If we didn't live so far away, this would become one of our go-to spots!

11/11/2025: Wonderful atmosphere! It's the second time I've eaten here and it's always good. My friends had the fish if the day and my husband and I each had a steak, I wasn't impressed with the cut of steak because it was too thin and steaks should never be thin in my onion. I must point out that the last time I had a steak here it was incredible, so maybe I just ordered the wrong steak this time.

Different and original flavors and recipes.
The risotto was incredible, very unique.
Everything was wonderful.
A great wine list.
The music was very good, not intrusive.
The service was excellent, very friendly, and they gave us great wine recommendations.
If you're in Saint Martin de Ré, you must eat here.
28/06/2026: The dishes were well-prepared and delicious, and the terrace was pleasant. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par. Our starters were served before the wines and cocktails, and we felt rushed throughout the meal.

09/06/2026: One of the nicest and best small hotels we have ever stayed in. Lovely building in amazing location, only 100m from the harbour. Room comfortable and spacious, with air conditioning coping easily with 30c+ temperatures while we were there. Gardens are great place to sunbathe in comfort, with added bonus of very pleasant small swimming pool. Breakfasts a real highlight, both the quality and range of food and the friendly service in the shady courtyard. Parking works well once pre-booked, albeit spaces are quite tight. Parking sensors very useful. Very much hope we get the chance to visit again.

18/05/2026: A very good restaurant: quality ingredients, original dishes in a lovely setting. The only downside was the much-touted terrace, which meant we had to eat in the cold despite the blankets kindly provided. Remember to ask when you make your reservation whether your table is inside or outside so you can dress accordingly 😉

Amazing food and amazing drinks.
Very nice place.
Sum up, it's a wonderful option if you want to celebrated a wedding.

03/07/2026: Error in the cocktail order, mussels and fries served with the cocktails, not many people, very long wait for dessert, unfriendly staff.
I'll be lenient, it's the start of the season, but personally I won't be going back.
Going into a business and feeling like you're bothering them... Not great.
And to top it all off, when we asked for the menu for dessert, the owner (I think) replied, "Well, it's written on the placemats, it's obvious..." That's what I call customer service!
And out of the four desserts, only three were served... A 10-minute wait for the fourth (not great for ice cream).
For our part, we remained polite throughout.
Their advantage is their prime location, but beware, there are other restaurants like this...
