Although the park is very well-landscaped and suitable for all levels of visitors, I found it disappointing not to be able to follow a designated path.
Having to constantly consult a map to find your way around and avoid missing an enclosure is inconvenient, especially with children.
All the restrooms were particularly dirty!
The "activities" were often just explanations about the animal without actually seeing it.
However, we did have a good meal (fast food) with very little waiting time.

Returning more than 20 years later, the big changes and improvements were noticeable, especially with the animals. It was great, but I didn't see some, like the Sumatran tiger, polar bear, and others.
The giant hippopotamus was impressive. As for the restaurants, snacks, etc., they're poorly located and the queues are far too long. They've grouped everything in the middle of the zoo instead of dividing it into north, east, west, and south sections, which is a shame!

The animal exhibit is very interesting.
However, it's a shame we always have to rely on the map because there aren't enough signs.
And, being disabled, I found many access points inaccessible to wheelchair users.
The layout needs to be reviewed.
Currently, it's not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The enclosures were large enough for the animals.
The zoo was very clean.
There should be more signs; everyone was lost despite the map and the few available directions.
On the other hand, the terrain was uneven. My 77-year-old father, who has hip problems, was able to do the "refuge de la tanière" (den) section, but there were too many steep climbs and descents, so he couldn't do everything.
Another minor drawback was the polar bear pacing frantically in its enclosure, as is often the case with bears in captivity. The bird show is a must-see; we loved it.

Crowded but very easy to navigate. Pleasant visit in a clean, tree-lined park.

Buy tickets in advance and you queue with everyone else who bought their tickets in advance, but in the end we didn't have to wait 😁 A pleasant visit, it didn't feel like there were that many people.

La Flèche Zoo: Amazing! 🦁🌿
We went on August 17th and had a wonderful day. The zoo is truly magnificent, very well maintained, and above all, very shady, which is really pleasant when it's hot.
The animals are magnificent, and the enclosures are superb, spacious, and very well designed. 🐘🦒🐯
A big thank you also to the zookeepers, who are fantastic and passionate. We have absolutely no complaints; everything was perfect!
A visit I 100% recommend, and one we will gladly repeat! ❤️
