I've been going to La Banche for lunch whenever I'm in Chambéry for a long time, confident that I can get a quick, healthy meal and be served with a smile. The hanger steak is delicious.

A very nice place for a drink or an ice cream; the tiramisu and mango ice cream are very good. Located in the town square, it's pleasant, and the service from the staff is friendly.

Café de Paris

13/09/2026: Strategically well located, yet peaceful and timeless.
11/09/2026: The food was quite good, but the service left much to be desired; you had to fight to get sauces or a carafe of water… the dishes weren't excellent, but just passable, so they weren't worth the price.
