Amazing view, friendly service. Very diverse menu (too diverse?). Go for the cooked dishes. Forget the pizzas, they're the worst I've had in ages!

During the last week of May, I went to the South of France on my motorcycle with a friend. We wanted to continue our route south via the Col de La Madeleine. Actually, it was still closed to traffic due to the snow that was still lying there. But when we saw other cars and motorcycles driving towards us, we decided to ignore the no-entry sign and drive up the pass anyway, which saved us many kilometers of detouring. The road was easy to drive on, and moreover, we enjoyed the beautiful view at the top.

Superb views of the mountains and a good physical challenge if you do it by bike, whichever side you choose.

The views are amazing. The route from Chambrey is the more comfortable route, the other side is quite an adventure, lots of serpentines and hair pin curves. Lots of cyclists and bikers, so drive appropriately.

Fantastic Col , we took 2 motorcycles up when the Col had not yet opened - 1 car , 6 bicycles and 2 motorcycles at the top , spectacular views all around , best Col I've visited yet .

The mountain pass in winter. What a magnificent 360-degree view! I highly recommend it. I'd love to go back in summer to see the difference.
