Here's a lovely story from my time at La Baratte this winter… After a bike ride near the Semnoz pass, in the cold and dark, I decided to stop a little earlier than planned in front of the restaurant, which was under renovation. To warm up, I discreetly settled down in the back while waiting for a friend to pick me up. That's when the owners surprised me… and invited me in to warm up. A wool blanket, some long conversations, and a complimentary local beer later: that's what I call true hospitality. I invite you to come and sit down and share a moment with this warm-hearted team. Thank you again. See you this summer, this time in cycling shorts!

I often take my parents to eat at this typical restaurant in our beautiful region, and it's always a treat. We even had the chance to chat with the owner about various topics, which was a real pleasure (as were the staff). Thank you!

A wonderful discovery. The staff, decor, atmosphere, and food were all top-notch! And the prices were reasonable. The blueberry tartlet was delicious.

Great restaurant! We had an excellent Savoyard fondue; the portions were very generous and the ingredients were high quality. The only downside was the very noisy dining room.
