Pleasant service, the waiter had a nice touch of humor (if he reads this comment, we want oysters!). Simple but hearty meal, a very good and convivial time. I recommend it.

Nice little restaurant. We had a good meal. The mussels in cream sauce were delicious, as was the chocolate fondant. We had lunch on the terrace by the water. The waiter was friendly and smiling.

A lovely terrace by the harbor. The service, staff, and food were all excellent! Delicious homemade mayonnaise with shrimp. And two superb mussel dishes. Go for it and enjoy the sun and the seagulls. ☀️

Passing through the area... We stopped for a quick family lunch. Nice place. However, we received a frosty welcome from this waitress (with large sunglasses). She was unpleasant, didn't smile, answered curtly, and served us while nervously chewing her gum. We had lunch in the blazing sun with our child. We asked for the parasol to be opened, but apparently, it was too much work for her to do! The people at the other tables noticed her mood, just like we did... No children's menu, which is a shame... On the plus side, the young waiter was very good! And I wish him the best of luck because she even spoke rudely to him... The mussels and fries were very good.

Okay, but the roasted Camembert came with very little charcuterie, and what little there was was clearly mass-produced. The Camembert itself was a Président brand, which is rather disappointing given that it's a regional specialty. As for desserts, the chocolate fondant wasn't very good, at least not to my taste. I think the prices are reasonable, but the food doesn't quite justify them.

Looking for a restaurant in Saint-Valery-en-Caux, we decided on La Bascule and its small terrace overlooking the port. The welcome was very pleasant. We were seated immediately and warned that there might be a bit of a wait. Indeed, we did wait a little. But at least we were informed. The mussels and fries were really very good, unfortunately the dessert wasn't up to par. A good little place, good value for money.
