La Base sur Lorient

We have been coming here regularly for two years. Unfortunately, I see a decline in category. The crepes are a little less generous, the andouille sausage is more finely cut and in smaller quantities, the mustard cream sauce is also less generous. As for dessert, the Breton cut with caramel ice cream. This ice cream used to have small pieces of caramel and was very good; it has become classic without much flavor. Too bad it was one of the best creperies in the region

While passing through Lorient, we ate one evening at the creperie, luckily there was still room. Well eaten, good atmosphere, fast service. In short, go ahead without worries. Enjoy your food .

We came during the All Saints' Day holidays and arrived at 12:00 p.m.: we waited 1 hour 50 minutes for two simple pancakes and two pancakes (jam and caramel). As much as the meal was good, we did not appreciate the response of a waiter to a lady who had been waiting for an hour for a sweet crepe "but no, it's not that long" and the people around were getting annoyed ( too bad because the setting is very beautiful). If you go there, plan plenty of time because we felt they were overwhelmed in their service.

We were passing through with a friend. Unfortunately, pressed by her state of health, a gentleman (the boss?) made us a nice gesture. If I come back to the area, I will come back! A nice setting, a really cool welcome, very good service and good products. Don't hesitate if you want to have a good time!

Nous nous sommes rendus dans ce restaurant proche de la mer et de la vieille citadelle. Le cadre est très sympathique et le restaurant est plutôt bien situé. Il y a une très bonne ambiance avec beaucoup de jeunes qui viennent se retrouver. Ce fut très bon, MAIS j’ai décidé de mettre la note de 3/5 pour trois raisons. - Les prix trop sont élevés comparé à la qualité et la quantité des produits dans l’assiette - La présentation des plats laissée à désirer - Les cartes qui ont mis du temps à être servies J’y ai apprécié le concept de pouvoir mélanger toutes sortes de viandes à notre goût avec du poisson, fruits de mer, bœuf, porc ou poulet nommé les catamarans. Néanmoins, je pense que c’est un lieu plus adapté pour l’apéritif, boire un coup ou se retrouver entre amis 🕺
