Pas mal pour un déjeuner au bord du Canal du midi. Les plats sont bons, mais le service est très lent et mal organisé. Nous avons attendu 20minutes pour pouvoir commander la carafe d'eau!

Very good value for money. The meal salads are XXL. It’s good and plentiful.

Beautiful place on the banks of the Canal du Midi, decent service, apart from cooking meat and fish, not much homemade (sauces, fries, dessert...industrial).
Go there for the boats...not for the gastronomy.

Those who stop in Capestang and eat at La Batelière during their boat or bike ride along the Canal du Midi will not regret it. This restaurant, with its covered terrace facing the moored boats, offers a beautiful brasserie menu, capable of satisfying varied desires. The dishes are prepared with care, copious and appetizing. To definitely make your stopover at La Batelière a good time, the service is welcoming and well organized. I ate there last May, with a group of cyclists along the Canal. As I liked the place, I made it the goal of a bicycle excursion with my wife, leaving from Béziers, on July 31. Good impression confirmed!

The food was really good.
We had steak tartare, gambas, carbonara, burger. All were generous portions. Ice cream was local and tasty.
Manager and staff were attentive.
Lovely evening.

Restaurant very well located facing the Canal du Midi, beautiful terrace where the roof is removable (in case of rain), good food, wine also until dessert. Welcoming and very friendly staff, pretty overall. You have to book because there are a lot of requests. I recommend.
