La Belle Epoque sur Chauvigny

08/06/2026: We had a lovely time at this restaurant. The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, with elegant presentation and excellent flavors. However, a few things could be improved. The decor could perhaps use a refresh to create a warmer atmosphere. I also found the cheese rather bland, and the dessert was served very lukewarm, which made it less enjoyable. Finally, the staff is professional and friendly, although a smile would add an extra touch of warmth. Overall, a good experience, with a few tweaks that could make all the difference.

23/05/2026: A place to remember in Chauvigny This hotel-restaurant deserves your attention. The room was simple but clean with very comfortable bedding, and the housekeeping staff was very friendly. The service was noteworthy…we were a party of over thirty adults and were served practically at the same time, which allowed us to all dine together and enjoy a hot meal. The staff is very welcoming and remains friendly throughout the evening. As for the chef, he is inventive and creative, and the portions are very generous in my opinion. I would gladly stop at the Lion d’Or if I am ever in Chauvigny again.
