We enjoyed it so much that we went back during our short stay. Excellent value for money. Very warm welcome. Excellent service. The waiters were very attentive, making sure nothing was missing from the table. The owner was just as friendly and pleasant as his staff. In short, I 100% recommend the restaurant because everything was perfect. And a nice bonus: the vintage decor with all the metal signs on the walls. And also the view, just 3 meters from Clayette Castle. Okay, I'll stop there because it's all positive. Go and see for yourself!

We ate on a shaded terrace, cooled by misting fans, and were served quickly and with a smile. The meal was generous. The €27 set menu included a hearty, well-dressed salad, an excellent Charolais steak with new potatoes, and a lovely fruit salad. A place to recommend.

A superb experience in a superb restaurant. Beyond the delicious food, we were pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service. Alan is probably the best waiter in France (and I'm not talking about his height). Approachable, smiling, polite, and attentive, he has all the qualities one could hope for to make a restaurant experience more than just a place to eat. A perfectly ordinary French restaurant without any luxury or frills, where you are served quickly and in a friendly manner, and for €16.50 you get a very good, generous 3-course lunch.
