We had a wonderful Valentine's Day evening. The staff were very pleasant and the owner was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Unfortunately, apart from the dessert (Mont Blanc), which was very good, the main course (guinea fowl) had no flavor, was very greasy, and there was very little meat to eat. Not to mention the mashed potatoes, which were difficult to find, and the presentation, which left much to be desired.

First visit to this well-known Niort restaurant for a weekday lunch – ideal location (a little off the beaten path but not far from Niort), parking was no problem. The setting is tasteful without being ostentatious, the menu is short (2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts), the dishes are carefully prepared, and the price is reasonable.
The bread is good (which isn't always the case).
Unfortunately, the weather didn't allow us to try the outdoor seating by the water.
A special mention for the friendly, smiling, and attentive service.
In short, a good place for a lunch that's a little out of the ordinary.
