I really enjoyed this little restaurant, A good warm atmosphere given off by the owner who was also very very friendly with us. I was able to taste the pork feather with chorizo ​​and it was delicious Plus, dogs are allowed! I recommend 100% everything was perfect 👍🏼

On a trip to the South, we stopped at this place for a quick lunch that ended up lasting a lot longer than anticipated. No reservation but they had plenty of room, and even though if the reception wasn’t as warm as you could expect from what the owners are trying to project. When -finally- the main course arrived, the owner wife, brought my mom’s plate by announcing ‘here is for GrandMa’ (voilà pour la mammy). Outside of the fact that it was very disrespectful, she forgot to mention that they switched the main course for something different than what was ordered, without coming prior to let us know that they ran out of filet-mignon and switched the whole plate for ribs. When we realized that it was not what we ordered, we called back the owner wife/waitress to ask what was the issue, it ended up being everyone’s fault but theirs. Running out of produce is part of running the restaurant business, and it happens. But switching the meal that was ordered for something else, without even checking if it was an issue for the client (my mom is 90+ years old, eating ribs vs filet mignon is definitely a different experience for her…) is not a practice that you would ever see, even less expect from any restaurant. The food itself wasn’t bad (not stellar either), but the service and the lack of respect that they are showing to their customers, was definitely subpar. It would have taken no more than ‘I am sorry’ to make things be a lot more happy day for everyone. Instead we just received a ‘it’s everyone fault, nothing we could have done, go check in the kitchen if you want’…disappointing and sad.
