The service was very slow; it must have been because of the cooking time of our tartares.

A truly wonderful discovery. Everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the flavors. It's a shame we can't give it more than 5 stars. Even coming from Sélestat, we'll definitely be back on our next visit to this town.

Assiette du Coq à l'Ane

13/10/2026: During a romantic dinner, we discovered one of the most beautiful spots in Gérardmer. The gardens are splendid, and the welcome was exemplary. We even had a visit from the chef and the manager. We were a little hesitant after seeing the bad reviews, but honestly, I think the people who left them are either blind or foolish. Absolutely nothing in those reviews is true. We booked somewhat randomly, and we have absolutely no regrets. Everything was perfect: the ambiance, the food, the service. The waiters were extremely kind and competent. The chef himself came to see us; you can tell he cares about his customers' opinions. The atmosphere inside is extraordinary, with soft music and a cozy fireplace. Everything was excellent. Even the restrooms are perfect; you could eat off the floor! The coffee was truly delicious. Thank you to the entire team for the warm welcome and for offering us digestifs for our first wedding anniversary. A big thank you to the manager and the chef. We will definitely be back.
