Very warm welcome, pleasant meal, very good, very pretty setting

I came with my husband last night to eat at this lovely restaurant. The dish was really good. We will definitely come back to eat at this restaurant.

Excellent restaurant in the Avesnois region, very close to Val Joly lake. High-quality food with succulent meat and homemade fries.

Received a very friendly welcome and received good/fast service. The food was substandard... a pity because it has a lot of potential. We did have a lovely evening in the sunshine on the cozy terrace at the back.

Friendly staff and prompt service, but the food could be a bit better. It wasn't bad, but it could certainly be a lot better. The hamburger was more raw than cooked, and the portion of the lamb skewer was rather small and bland. A shame, because there is so much more in it.

Excellent place to eat; the food was generous and served in a friendly atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and the setting perfect. The price is very reasonable, reflecting the quality of the meal.

A brasserie-restaurant highly recommended by La Mare aux Canards in Semeries. We made a reservation three weeks ago and (three of us) enjoyed the Saturday lunch service. The storefront is attractive, the parking lot is quite large, and there's a terrace at the front and back, just like in the photos. We received a warm welcome and were seated in the first dining room. We opted for a three-course meal (starter/main/dessert with coffee). We had three starters (homemade terrine), and three main courses: two rib-eye steaks and a polchewech (a type of fried pastry), followed by a Colonel (a type of ice cream), fresh pineapple with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a tiramisu. The total cost was around forty euros per person, excluding drinks. The entire restaurant was full. We were surprised by the staff's responsiveness and professionalism, and despite the large number of diners, we could talk without being disturbed by the conversations at other tables. Truly excellent. The dining room and restrooms were clean. The restaurant's decor is unusual, but that's part of its charm. We'll be back for the mussels and fries... because it's exceptional, according to our customers. Congratulations to the team! Enjoy your meal and best of luck!
