Sylvain, the owner, is a standout personality, exuding genuine hospitality and ensuring that every guest feels valued. During our visit, we had the pleasure of trying Sylvain's homemade génépi, a delightful treat that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the region. For lunch, we opted for the moules, frites, and a refreshing beer, all of which exceeded my expectations. We also indulged in Aperol Spritz and Irish Coffees adding more enjoyment to our experience. What truly sets Kanata apart is the combination of impeccable service, delicious food, and a welcoming ambiance. Sylvain's generosity and passion for his craft shine through in every aspect of the dining experience, leaving a lasting impression. La Bergerie Kanata is undoubtedly a gem in Les Deux Alpes, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit. Merci beaucoup!

Very beautiful and good site to do

Warm welcome and cozy atmosphere (far from noisy foreign tourists), we tasted a pie and a Savoyard crust which made us appreciate the gastronomy of this region. A big thank you also for the free digestives!

One of the best high-altitude restaurants in the resort. Delicious food, well prepared and a homely atmosphere. It has a large terrace to enjoy the sun and a beautiful view. Unmissable stop and a perfect plan for those who want to enjoy a quiet walk in the mountains.

The nicest place in the 2 Alps, if you are tired of crowded high-altitude terraces with loud music and drunk Dutch people, this restaurant is quiet, the mountain cuisine is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Sit inside around the large central fireplace for more conviviality. A small piece of Genepi will be offered to you.

I almost never post reviews, but after a week spent in the two Alps, I will remember Kanata and its team for a long time! Great atmosphere, lovely staff and the food smells of home-made and quality products! He also runs a cheese shop in the resort which is more than worth the detour! See you soon, I hope around a good génep!
