La Bicyclette Bleue sur Joyeux

I had the pleasure of trying an outstanding appetizer, crème brûlée made with goat cheese. A truly delightful culinary experience.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area. I went there with two friends on Tuesday, August 25th, with a reservation for 7 pm. Despite one of my friends being late, the waiter told us there was no problem and laughed with us. In addition to our table, there were four other tables with between three and five people each. The drinks, appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all excellent. I want to thank the waiter again for bringing half a sauce and half a butter to each of our plates, even though my friends and I couldn't decide on the sauce or butter for the meat. We were extremely touched and happy by this gesture. Thank you again. After having a wonderful time with consistently excellent dishes, the bill came to around €40 each. A very reasonable price. Being from the area, my family and I really love this restaurant. And having traveled all over France since I was little, this restaurant has always held a special place in my memory and my stomach! Bravo!! I highly recommend it!

We loved the frogs' legs casserole and the beef. The ingredients were excellent. The setting is truly charming, a real country restaurant, with very friendly staff.

A very pleasant place to enjoy delicious dishes such as frog legs with dauphinoise potatoes. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

We knew this restaurant, having been there before. The setting is nice, but tonight we were very disappointed with everything else. We had to ask for the glasses of wine we ordered, they were out of Vals sparkling water even though it's on the menu, and my husband asked for a cognac... they were out of it too. The frogs' legs were good, but being in the Dombes region, we expected them to be excellent... frankly, we've had better. We hope they improve!

They were a little overwhelmed that day. They need to think about improving the desserts; they looked beautiful but the taste needed improvement.

Special mention to young Côme who was very pleasant and attentive throughout dinner. Thank you to him!

As regulars, we had lunch there today. The welcome was very pleasant and the staff were always attentive. We enjoyed a delicious meal without any waiting; it was a very pleasant experience, despite the rather hot weather, but we were well sheltered on the terrace. We always return with pleasure and have never been disappointed.

The food was good, but there wasn't enough for my liking. The service was good; we didn't have to wait.

I had a lovely time at La Bicyclette Bleue. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. The Pain Perdu is a MUST try! I will remember this place fondly.
