La Bodega sur Fort-Mahon-Plage

Mixed service. No more ketchup, no more ice cream in the kids' menu, and the coffee machine was broken. There was a rather unpleasant smell of cigarettes in the restaurant, which was odd! Apparently, they were smoking in the kitchen during service. Fortunately, the food was decent! So, a mixed bag.

Many things were missing: no more lemonade, no more ketchup, no coffee available, no ice cream on the children's menu, and to top it all off, a cook with a cigarette in his mouth behind the stove.

We had a great time in a cheerful and eclectic setting. The cocktails were good and the food was delicious. The service was pleasant.

Fantastic atmosphere, unique restaurant with original decor. Excellent meal, my meat (rare) was cooked perfectly.

Nice, just as indicated at the entrance, proper attire is required, so it would be good to ask people to put on some clothing and not be shirtless.......

A wonderful surprise in Fort Mahon! Impeccable service and a warm welcome, delicious food, and very reasonable prices! Plus, a friendly waiter who's from my hometown (department 13)! I highly recommend "La Bodega" if you're ever in the area!

An unusual place with thoughtful decor, a nice bonus being the outdoor area with its magnificent grapevine offering welcome shade! The service was adequate, but not very fast. It's worth mentioning the self-service option (which offers a discount on your meal) as it also reduces the wait time. For starters, we ordered an assortment of homemade cod fritters (flawless), but then, to our disappointment, they were out of razor clams on the griddle, so we opted for the classic carpaccio and marinated octopus. The waiter announced a beef carpaccio with Parmesan, capers, and onions... In the end, the carpaccio was bland (just olive oil for seasoning, no salt, pepper, capers, balsamic vinegar, lemon, or queniesin, apart from red onions and Parmesan). The accompanying fries, however, were quite good. We'll have to see what the other dishes on the menu are like! But for our part, we were left a little disappointed. PS: XL version for the carpaccio = one plate, which is to say, not much.

I have very mixed feelings about our experience at La Bodega. There were five of us, and we were seated at a table for four, which was rather small. We let it go. Knowing we were going to eat mussels, there simply wasn't enough room at the table. We ordered, and the wine that came with the mussels arrived before the aperitifs. We asked them to put it back in the fridge while we waited. Then, only four out of the five aperitifs arrived; the fifth was completely forgotten, and we had to ask for it twice. When the mussels finally arrived, we were served by a young waiter who seemed very uneasy. He held the pots of mussels against his chest and nearly burned himself. He almost spilled a pot of mussels on my partner. We helped him because he was clearly unsure of himself. The garlic mussels were truly excellent! The fries were homemade, made with real potatoes, and the quality of the food was impeccable. We finished our meal and had to deal with the same waiter, who knocked over mussel shells on my sister's back while carrying the pots of mussels. The dessert menu was brought to us, but no one came to check on us to see what we wanted. We paid and then went to get ice cream by the sea. Results: we had a very good meal because it was really delicious. However, the service was a bad experience.
