La Bodega sur Fort-Mahon-Plage

We came with friends and had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly, the service was quick, the products were excellent, and the concept was great. We will definitely be back.

I have very mixed feelings about our experience at La Bodega. There were five of us, and we were seated at a table for four, which was rather small. We let it go. Knowing we were going to eat mussels, there simply wasn't enough room at the table. We ordered, and the wine that came with the mussels arrived before the aperitifs. We asked them to put it back in the fridge while we waited. Then, only four out of the five aperitifs arrived; the fifth was completely forgotten, and we had to ask for it twice. When the mussels finally arrived, we were served by a young waiter who seemed very uneasy. He held the pots of mussels against his chest and nearly burned himself. He almost spilled a pot of mussels on my partner. We helped him because he was clearly unsure of himself. The garlic mussels were truly excellent! The fries were homemade, made with real potatoes, and the quality of the food was impeccable. We finished our meal and had to deal with the same waiter, who knocked over mussel shells on my sister's back while carrying the pots of mussels. The dessert menu was brought to us, but no one came to check on us to see what we wanted. We paid and then went to get ice cream by the sea. Results: we had a very good meal because it was really delicious. However, the service was a bad experience.

We were very well received, even though we made a last-minute reservation for 18 people. We were the only restaurant that would take us, as the others refused because we were too many. Otherwise, the food was good, and we didn't have to wait for our plates. I recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant! We came last night. The decor was very nice, the atmosphere warm, the service very fast, the waiters very friendly, and the food was delicious. We'll definitely be back! Thank you and have a great end to the season!

A lovely setting with a quiet terrace in the courtyard. We had a very good meal and the service was quick. There was a mistake on the bill, and the manager acknowledged it; thank you so much for making it right! 👍

Excellent meal, impeccable service

Beautifully decorated place. Generous portions. Good dessert. Be aware that there can be long waits on busy days.

Rather sloppy… Small portions, especially of the cocktails, unprofessional service, and a "gourmet coffee" that's frankly anything but gourmet… except for the price. With a little training, more attention to detail, and above all, a genuine commitment to customer service, the whole experience could definitely be improved. But for now, there's still a lot of work to be done.

2020: Very nice restaurant! Friendly welcome, attentive and very kind waiter. Delicious and affordable pizza with a wide selection. Unlimited mussels with fries. 2026: Extremely long wait, overpriced piña colas that tasted like water. Wrong aperitif order (didn't say anything because the wait was already incredibly long, so I was afraid of having to wait even longer). I got up to ask for a carafe of water, but no one at the bar acknowledged me, so thank you to the only waiter who took me seriously at that moment. Otherwise, a positive rating because, it must be said, the food was very good. So, I left a tip and I hope the kitchen benefits from it too.
