La BODEGA sur Paris

My favorite bar in Paris for a cheap drink! I've been going at least once a month for about two years now. The prices are very affordable (although I miss the old "meter of shots for €10" promotion), which made you wonder how the bar even made a profit! The waiter is very friendly, contrary to what some reviews say, where I realize it's not the staff but the customers who are unpleasant (it makes sense that they tell you off when you go outside with your drink, even though it's the only thing forbidden and you can easily leave it at the entrance!). The restrooms are generally clean, the music is pretty good (even if it's not dance music, but that's not the bar's vibe), and I like that the staff reserves the right to remove anyone who's being disruptive (e.g., being overly aggressive, damaging the equipment, etc.). It only enhances the good atmosphere and the feeling of safety. Kudos to one of the few bars in Paris that prioritizes the well-being of its customers over profit at all costs!

At that price, can we really complain?

No complaints about the beer selection, the owner is friendly, and the prices are attractive. However, the €8 minimum order is quite annoying when you order a Jupiler HH for €3.90. People have the right to enjoy a beer without having to take out cash. The days of cash are over; people pay by card now!

Great place to dodge the onslaught outside. No fuss simple bar ready to pour your beer or make a simple drink with less ceremony.
