We've known this restaurant for many years; in fact, they've been here for 20 years! Besides the restaurant itself, there's also Kathia and Jean-Luc, without whom the restaurant wouldn't have the same prestige. The food is impeccable, delicious, and unpretentious, simply served with care, just like at home. They're always attentive to their customers, who keep coming back with great pleasure to delight our taste buds. Thank you, don't change a thing, and see you very soon! Kisses to you both! ✌

Excellent restaurant, very friendly staff. We were a party of four and the owner greeted us immediately. We felt at ease right away, and the meal was very generous and delicious. The owner, working alone in the kitchen, managed all the tables very well. This won't be the last time we go to this establishment. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

20/02/2026: Lunch today at La Porte Haute in Sarre-Union, and frankly, a very good experience. Generous and high-quality cuisine: perfectly cooked escalope in cream sauce, golden fries, a delicious dessert with ice cream and whipped cream, and a good coffee to finish. A special mention also goes to the simple but satisfying starter. Pleasant, quick, and professional service. A friendly atmosphere; you feel right at home. A reliable spot in Sarre-Union; I'll definitely be back.

21/08/2024: It's hard to understand some of the reviews... We have been regular customers for years, and behind the stove there is a real cook who loves what he does! It's just excellent and in more than enough quantity. If you like local and well-made cuisine, don't hesitate. People who “are in the trade” and criticize, I think you are not at all in the trade to say such things about such dishes. Never disappointed, price consistent with quality and quantity…. Bravo to you and don’t change anything, we will come back again and again! Being “of the trade” :)
