Fantastic evening at La Boucherie! We had a wonderful meal, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was great. Special mention for the service: quick, efficient, and with a friendly and smiling team. Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect from start to finish. A great place to spend quality time with friends or family. We'll definitely be back! 👌🥩

We're usually quite happy, but I find the quality has declined. On the other hand, the €2 salad supplement for three leaves (and not even the most appetizing ones) is a bit much; at that price, you expect better! It's a shame, I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

The Auvergne burger needs improvement. The bun was mass-produced, and the St. Nectaire cheese wasn't up to par for the price. The rest of the meal was good.

Still as good as ever, excellent meat. Impeccable service. Spotless restrooms too. It's not the cheapest, admittedly, but the quality is there. Well done, because it's a restaurant I've known since it opened, more or less 30 years ago.

We usually go to La Boucherie restaurants whenever possible. The one in Aubière is our regular spot, and we have to say the quality of the food has dropped considerably. While I can't prove it, I suspect they're using the microwave extensively. My burger was served cold (this is the second time) and reheated very quickly. It's a shame, but I think that was the last time we went.

Hippopotamus Aubière

17/09/2026: I came for a simple piece of beef, and I'll probably leave riding on the back of a wild hippopotamus. The meat was so tender that my steak knife felt useless and resigned. Special mention goes to the Roquefort sauce, clearly made with a grandmother's love and the precision of a Swiss watchmaker. The fries arrived hotter than the July weather, and the service was so quick and friendly that I almost left them my firstborn as a tip. In short, if perfection had horns and a big smile, it would be working at the Hippopotamus grill. Go there with your eyes closed, but your mouth wide open.
17/09/2026: We ate here tonight, very warm welcome, good food, friendly staff, I recommend it
