La Boucherie sur Saint-Barthelemy-D'Anjou

Lunch yesterday was my first time at this type of establishment. I'm giving it 3 stars to avoid being too harsh, as the meal was good, but the overall experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. We arrived around 12:30-12:35 PM and the restaurant was far from full. Despite this, we waited about 20 minutes before we could order, then another 30 minutes before being served, making a total wait of nearly 50 minutes after we were seated. I asked if this wait was typical. I was told that it was "a bit busy." However, looking around, less than half the available tables were occupied. The meal itself was thankfully good. On the other hand, once we finished, we waited for almost 15 minutes without seeing a single server to clear our table or even offer us the dessert menu. We finally decided to leave, making our dissatisfaction clear. A gesture of goodwill was made by not paying for the drinks, which we appreciated. It's a shame, because we would have gladly tried some of the desserts, which looked very appetizing. But after almost two hours in the restaurant, the wait had become too long. For a first experience, it was unfortunately disappointing, and we probably won't be back. It's a pity, because the quality of the meal itself was quite good.

Franchise restaurant. Ordinary flank steak. We opted for the self-service kiosk. It's quick. But you have to clear your own table.

I ordered beef kebabs and the meat was tough. When I paid the bill, I mentioned it to the manager, and his response really surprised me... "We're often told this, but we receive them like this; there's nothing we can do." Which is for sure, I won't be going back. The service was impeccable.

During our holiday travel break, we received a warm welcome. We enjoyed a delicious meal. The staff were very pleasant and kind. Thank you.
