La Boucherie sur Saint-Barthelemy-D'Anjou

A lovely place and a great team. We rediscovered the butcher shop. The food was very good, special mention to the tiramisu. One small negative point: bring something for the flies that swarmed us while we were inside. Otherwise, it was fantastic, we'll gladly return.

The servers were too nice. The salad wasn't very good, and the tomato tasted moldy. It was very noisy, and the manager shouts like a fishmonger; it's very unpleasant.

The service is excellent, and so is the food. We'll definitely be back.

Always a pleasant experience at the butcher shop. The team is very welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. The food is very good and plentiful, no complaints whatsoever. And one of the rare places where the cappuccino is actually well made 👍

So, so, so, so! A seasoned traveler and lover of all kinds of restaurants, whether in France or abroad. La Boucherie, a restaurant you can find pretty much everywhere, especially near where I live, near Nantes. We went there with my sister, my brother-in-law, and my little nephew (under 2 years old). It was already incredibly hot. We went inside and were greeted with lots of smiles and "hello." We were quickly taken care of and offered either the terrace or inside. Of course, at around 34°C, we opted for the cooler spot. We were seated, high chair provided, perfect! We ordered, and the service was quick. Everything went smoothly. Plus, it was nice to see people happy (thanks to the sunshine and the long weekend). And even though it wasn't packed (yes, it wasn't exactly overflowing yet), the servers were fantastic! And we know it's looooooong. Thanks to our waitress, always smiling and really on top of things and very helpful—you'll surely recognize yourself—and on top of that, we'd forgotten the bottle of water, which was kindly brought back to us. Thanks again! Anyway, having eaten at quite a few restaurants of this type, I usually go to two around Nantes. Really great, it's a welcome change from another restaurant with horns on the roof, whose name I won't mention, which has been a real disaster for the past few years... Yes, I can also say when something isn't great. Now for the review! Welcome/Service 👌 Food 🤌 (It's still a bit pricey at times, but overall it's good) Atmosphere: Relaxed and laid-back, the calm before the storm (hello summer, arriving with a blazing sun!) And one detail I really loved was the uniforms—they're so handsome! One thing's for sure, I often pass by your restaurant, and I'll definitely be back with lots of friends 🙃 In any case, I wish you all a wonderful start to summer! (Coming soon 😎) PS: I worked in the restaurant industry for years: as a cook, bartender, or server, it's not an easy job. We know you'll get negative reviews and unhappy customers, but keep in mind that people can be mean over nothing! But overall, people are having a wonderful time thanks to you! Thanks for reading ☺️

We received a very warm welcome at the restaurant, with kind attention paid to our small dog. The ribeye steak and the two club sandwiches were very good.
