Passing through the region, we came from Auxerre to participate in the Uxeau Hill Climb 🏁🏎️ and had the pleasure of stopping at La Boucherie restaurant in Paray-le-Monial.
We were treated like royalty! 👑 All the staff were fantastic: smiling, friendly, attentive, and very professional. A truly warm welcome that made our day!
And as for the food… a real treat 😋🍽️! We had a wonderful time from start to finish.
A big thank you to the whole team for your kindness and hospitality. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be back!

We're always satisfied with the manager. The gentleman who told us he was the other manager was less friendly. We pointed out that the dish served didn't look like the picture. The response: "The pictures are for illustrative purposes only." You see beautiful slices of beef on the menu picture, and what you get is none, and mixed in with the vegetables are three or four microscopic squares of meat, about 2 cm by 2 cm. The meat was very tough, almost impossible to eat. It was nothing like the beautiful slices of beef in the photo.
The dishes are well-prepared but not very generous.

Very good. My wife's first course was a starter of beef salad, which was undercooked, barely cooked, and bloody. We asked for it to be cooked, but the chef refused. I ordered an andouillette sausage, which was undercooked inside, which was a shame.
At the register, the customers ahead of us had wood broken on their backs right in front of us—very rude indeed.
The servers were very good.

Good quality food.
One small drawback: don't arrive around 9:45 pm, you'll be greeted by a young woman who makes it clear that it's a bit late without saying so explicitly. (Google Info: open until 11 pm on Fridays.)
What a shame...

We've been coming to this establishment for several years now, always at the same time of year, as we're passing through for an event. We usually arrive with about twenty people and have always received a warm welcome, enjoyed a very pleasant time, and had good meals. Just be sure to bring fans in case of high temperatures.
