30/08/2026: Passing through the region, we came from Auxerre to participate in the Uxeau Hill Climb 🏁🏎️ and had the pleasure of stopping at La Boucherie restaurant in Paray-le-Monial. We were treated like royalty! 👑 All the staff were fantastic: smiling, friendly, attentive, and very professional. A truly warm welcome that made our day! And as for the food… a real treat 😋🍽️! We had a wonderful time from start to finish. A big thank you to the whole team for your kindness and hospitality. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be back! See you soon, and congratulations again to the whole team 👏😊

06/09/2026: Pizza with grated Emmental cheese on top!!! What more can I say? It's greasy and indigestible, and I won't even mention the taste. I didn't know this pizzeria, I tried it, and I won't be going back.

31/07/2026: Do you know this feeling when you enter a hotel and you immediately feel at home? It is the opposite with this hotel: it smells a little stale with run-down carpets everywhere. Our room also featured a very old carpet. As others have written here, it urgently needs a renovation. The beds were good, but it was very hot in our room. A ventilator was provided, but we found it difficult to sleep with a ventilator running. You cannot open the windows because a) there is a strong lamp outside that shines on the facade of the building and b) there are mosquitoes. The shower was uncomfortable with low water pressure and a low wall that did not allow me as a tall person to stand while taking a shower.

23/05/2026: A very warm welcome, the breakfast is very good and plentiful, the location is truly ideal. I highly recommend it.

06/09/2026: What a disappointment! Exorbitant price compared to the quality of the meal. The main course was served almost at the same time as the aperitif. Luckily there was a beautiful view of the abbey and a friendly waitress.

04/09/2026: I've been there several times (winter, spring, summer). The food is lovely, they can make it suitable for vegetarians, the atmosphere is great, and Gisèle is a good cook 😊 I highly recommend it

24/09/2026: Don't be put off by the rather dark interior, they have a lovely patio seating are at the back! The Steak + Frites was really delicious. Friendly place. Recommended 👍

20/09/2026: Fantastic experience! Perfect welcome and very helpful staff. The quality of the products is excellent. The Charolais steak, the Charolais burger, and the chocolate fondants are particularly exceptional. I highly recommend it!
