A very good experience, real cooking with real fresh ingredients, a welcome change from chains and their crappy frozen food.

I'm delighted I finally made the trip to Eddy's. The vulgar name of the old restaurant, La Boufanelle, hadn't exactly enticed me to go, but Eddy has clearly put a lot of time and effort into building the reputation of this new venture. His enthusiasm is charming, and my wife and I immediately felt welcome in this nearly full restaurant on a Tuesday lunchtime. The dishes were fresh and carefully prepared. The local wine by the glass was good and reasonably priced. Everything would have been perfect if the terrine starter hadn't been overly salty. The chicken main course was technically well-executed, but the skin could have been crispier, and the seasoning too light. The owner rightly prides himself on using fresh, seasonal ingredients. That said, I think the excessive use of mashed potatoes detracted from the dish's texture. I look forward to seeing his menus for the coming seasons.

Excellent place. The menu is quite limited, but that only highlights the top-notch quality of the ingredients and the food. Eddy is very attentive and meets all our expectations. I'll definitely be back.
