La Boule d'Or sur Bressuire

I'm so glad I stayed here! This hotel is in the heart of Bressuire, family-run, and offers incredible value for money. I was lucky enough to spend two weeks here for work. It's a lovely family-run hotel, and they're gradually renovating the place. The rooms are a bit dated, but I feel comfortable here; they remind me of my grandparents' house. The room is cleaned every day, and I have to say, they pay close attention to cleanliness and your belongings. The owner is very attentive and readily adapts to your needs. There's a secure parking lot at the back. A huge plus is the food. In addition to a full breakfast, I ate every evening in the hotel restaurant. For just €20, you have a choice of several starters, main courses, and desserts, all homemade! It's beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. That's definitely why I'll do everything I can to come back. Thank you to the team at this establishment for their warm welcome and hard work. EDIT: It's March 3, 2026. The dish was a shepherd's pie made with thinly sliced ​​beef chuck, served with a small sweet potato purée with a subtle gingerbread flavor. Once again, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and price; incredibly delicious and generous portions. Thank you again.
