La Bourriche sur Wimereux

Every time I'm in Wimereux... I go! And every time I have a great time!

Simple cuisine – simply delicious If you love shellfish and other seafood, this is the place for you. The menu is concise, but everything on it is delicious and worth the price. Lobster from €25 and the whelks with mayonnaise… plus a suitable wine and dessert. Just try it!

The food was excellent: the oysters were fresh and of good quality, and the gratinéed oysters were superb. Unfortunately, the experience was spoiled by very rushed and unprofessional service. The waitress only served cutlery to two people before dumping the rest haphazardly in the middle of the table. The same thing happened with the wine: after offering a taste to only one person, she simply left without pouring the glasses. Furthermore, she interrupted us with a curt "yes" before leaving without waiting for us to finish our sentences. This abrupt tone and lack of consideration ruined the atmosphere of the evening, which is a real shame given the quality of the food.

Superb location. Peaceful. Simple but pleasant decor. Warm welcome. Excellent cuisine. Selection of seafood.

A fantastic find! The staff is dynamic and welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly, and above all, the seafood dishes are varied and excellent 🦞🦪🐟 A place I highly recommend… and to finish the meal on a high note, I strongly recommend their delicious infused rum 🍹👌

We discovered La Bourriche a few months ago during our first stay. Not fans of classic seafood platters, we appreciated this restaurant's focus on fish. Like tapas, we ordered several plates to share. Some wonderful discoveries... and excellent gratinated oysters... add to that a lovely setting, a pleasant atmosphere, and a welcoming and friendly team... we simply had to return during our second stay in Wimereux. And we weren't disappointed. We highly recommend this little restaurant.

A seafood specialist, the fish arrives directly from the fishermen of Boulogne-sur-Mer. It doesn't get any fresher! The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we actually went back three times thanks to their flexibility, as our usual schedules didn't always coincide with French working hours, which are quite different. The terrace is the highlight: large, set back from the street, and very sunny. Good wine, excellent food, superb terrace. What more could you ask for?
