La Bourriole sur La Ferriere

We weren't expecting to find a restaurant open in May. We met Jean-Marie and Valérie, a young campervan enthusiast and restaurateur of 25 years. Delicious pizzas, especially the four-cheese, and the owner's dessert: génépi ice cream drizzled with fir liqueur. Highly recommended! Excellent service! Excellent atmosphere!

Still as good as ever. We love the cheese specialties (special mention for the tartiflette). The saucy dishes at lunchtime (daily specials) are a delight, as is the chicken liver terrine 😋

The food is incredibly delicious, authentic, and indulgent, with vegetarian options available upon request. The chef is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the waitresses are very attentive. Make sure you hit the slopes to enjoy the "not-at-all-calorie" dishes: fondue, tartiflette, crosiflette, and a few desserts that might just make you forget your New Year's resolutions for 2026. :) A real treat. I plan to go back next year.
