The place is unique, clean, and has its own charm.
I had a ham hock, oven-baked and finished on the barbecue; it was delicious, served with great fries. I highly recommend this place!

From the moment you step inside, you're captivated by the decor, and the warm welcome upon arrival is equally delightful. The service and the meal are of remarkable quality, as is the staff's exceptional kindness. As for the food itself, the flavors are simply breathtaking. It's simply outstanding from beginning to end. I highly recommend it, and then some.

The interior is surprisingly different from the exterior… it's very pretty with the grilled meats in full view.
The service is welcoming and attentive.
The meat is very good, but that's not all; the appetizers and desserts are equally good, and the prices are reasonable. 👍
Half a bottle of Bourgueil at a great price. 👌
In short, don't hesitate any longer! 🙌

We have eaten here several times already. Not only are the food and atmosphere formidable, but the service is also well above average.
The icing on the cake was the Colonel for dessert........one of the very best ever!

Surprised by the negative reviews, we hesitated, but this Saturday evening, for four people, we received a very warm welcome and we didn't regret it. The food was good, the fries were excellent, and the portions were generous. The vegetarian salad, served half-cold and half-hot, was a nice touch, and the ham hock was cooked perfectly. The desserts were well presented. The window was very clean, which is a good sign. Thank you.

The price of the mixed platter is exorbitant for what it contains. The service is provided by very young people who haven't yet learned the basics of service and politeness. We're still waiting for one of them to say hello. We were also surprised by the service staff wearing caps... nothing dramatic, and it probably wouldn't have bothered us as much if they had smiled. The food itself was decent. This isn't the first time I've been to this establishment, and it's the first time I've been so disappointed.

A fantastic time at Le Boustifaille in Bergues! The meat was excellent quality, cooked over an open fire right before our eyes, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. There was a wide selection of good bottled beers to accompany the meal. The place is warm, friendly, and perfect for a wonderful evening with friends or family. I highly recommend it!

So it's true the welcome is a bit cold at first, but it warms up a bit later on. On the other hand, the food is top-notch. As a big eater, I was completely full. I was a little disappointed with the beer selection, having just come back from Belgium, but it was alright. And the setting is very pleasant with the fireplace in the middle.
