The price of the mixed platter is exorbitant for what it contains. The service is provided by very young people who haven't yet learned the basics of service and politeness. We're still waiting for one of them to say hello. We were also surprised by the service staff wearing caps... nothing dramatic, and it probably wouldn't have bothered us as much if they had smiled. The food itself was decent. This isn't the first time I've been to this establishment, and it's the first time I've been so disappointed.

A fantastic time at Le Boustifaille in Bergues! The meat was excellent quality, cooked over an open fire right before our eyes, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. There was a wide selection of good bottled beers to accompany the meal. The place is warm, friendly, and perfect for a wonderful evening with friends or family. I highly recommend it!

So it's true the welcome is a bit cold at first, but it warms up a bit later on. On the other hand, the food is top-notch. As a big eater, I was completely full. I was a little disappointed with the beer selection, having just come back from Belgium, but it was alright. And the setting is very pleasant with the fireplace in the middle.

Top-notch. Friendly, fast. World-class value for money. Amazing location, and the highlight is the open grill right in the middle of the dining room. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the portions were generous, and the goulash was divine. This is what great food is all about. Highly recommended. I would suggest making a reservation.

A lovely discovery of this Flemish tavern located near the ramparts. Friendly welcome and good cuisine typical of the region. We returned there the next day at noon.

08/04/2026: Second visit this Saturday, fantastic welcome, great atmosphere, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend it for a relaxing break, with the added bonus of being in the park, which allows children to enjoy themselves as much as the parents, thanks to the dedicated baby area – it's brilliant! See you very soon!
27/10/2025: We have already come to eat several times and we have never been disappointed. The cuisine is fine and refined, the atmosphere is warm. Go there without hesitation.
