We've been coming to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer for 20 years now, and each time we visit, it's a real pleasure to eat here! ❤️ The welcome is always warm, friendly, and attentive. A special mention goes to Farid, Nadia, and Haissan for their kindness, professionalism, and good humor, which make every visit even more enjoyable. We've never been disappointed: the dishes are always excellent and typical of the Camargue region. 😋 This has become a must-visit for us, and we recommend it without hesitation! See you very soon, as always! ☀️

Excellent value for money. Very good paella. Fast service. I stumbled upon it by chance but have absolutely no regrets. Don't hesitate to eat there.

The food was delicious. The paella was excellent, and the moules au Roquefort were particularly tasty. It was also quite reasonably priced. We had half a liter of house wine, a bottle of Pierre beer, two coffees, and two main courses, all for €60.

Magnificent, superb meal, great atmosphere, top-notch owner and staff. We were a party of 12 with a small dog and we were treated like royalty. Excellent cuisine. Can't wait to go back. Thank you, we had a wonderful time.

The staff was very friendly and the food was good, with a good quality-price ratio, which isn't a given in Saintes Marie, so I recommend coming here for dinner. The salads, fish soup, and seafood paella were delicious, and the desserts were superb.

07/06/2026: A very pleasant surprise on the culinary front. Beautiful and excellent dishes. We opted for the "discovery" menu, and from appetizer to dessert, it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The service could have been better, on par with the excellence of the cuisine; it was a bit too casual for my taste, lacking in precision. But in any case, a fine dining experience at this price (€45 per menu) in such a superb setting is unbeatable. Bravo.

Le Chalut

18/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Chalut! It's not easy to find your way around this restaurant street, which is very popular with tourists. However, we stumbled upon a real gem in terms of value for money. €24 for a starter and main course with the set menu. My partner opted for the charcuterie board, which was very generous, and I had the tellines (small clams) in a perfectly balanced creamy garlic sauce. I left for five minutes to get my partner's jacket from the car, but unfortunately, the starter had already been served by the time I left. When I returned, one of the waiters kindly offered to replace the main course with something hotter. For our main courses, we had the red mullet and sea bream fillets. Both were cooked perfectly, with a delicious sauce and side dishes. Despite the somewhat drab decor and the occasionally clumsy waiters, don't hesitate to try Chalut; it's not a tourist trap.
17/09/2026: Excellent value for money. The mussels and oysters were excellent, very fresh. The service was also very pleasant: young, smiling, friendly waiters who were always attentive. The establishment was clean and the wait time was perfectly reasonable. The only small suggestion for improvement: offering homemade fries. Otherwise, no complaints, we had a very good meal and we will gladly return.
