La Bracierie sur Saint-Chamond

This is my third visit to this establishment. My overall rating remains positive, but I would like to bring the following points to your attention: It was Monday at 12:30 PM. There were four of us (we had made a reservation), and we wanted the set menu of daily special and dessert for €20. The waitress informed us that the daily special was no longer available, which seemed unbelievable at the start of service. However, she explained that we could still order a dish from the menu at no extra charge, which seemed reasonable. The menu offered main courses for €19. I counted 18 dishes: 12 with a €3 supplement and only 6 without, which seems rather illogical given the advertised base price of €19. When the bill arrived, we realized we were being charged entirely "à la carte," which is a completely different matter... We chose not to say anything for fear of reprimanding the friendly waitress. Too bad... but I will certainly hesitate to return to the establishment, as it is never pleasant to feel cheated.

Very satisfied with our purchase. Good product and plenty of it. I recommend it.

We've been coming to La Braciérie for four years now. We love spending time there. The staff has always been fantastic (despite staff changes and a few minor hiccups). The food is consistently excellent. Occasionally, there are a few minor mishaps (it happens), but it's always delicious. Keep up the good work and stay at the top!

The terrace was a bit noisy and the beef was a bit tough

Excellent place, the restaurant is great, and the terrace is too. The waiters were very pleasant and helpful. The dishes were generous and delicious, as were the desserts.

I really like this place. The staff is very pleasant and always smiling. The set menus are good, even on weekends. Caesar salad and warm goat cheese are wonderful. The Milanese veal cutlet and salmon steak are delicious. Great service. I recommend it. And the waffles! 😀

I've been a regular since it opened, but lately things have gone downhill. Prices keep increasing without you even noticing, or you might have a dish for €19 and then have to add €3 for others. With a family of five, it adds up quickly. That makes a burger €22 where the salad takes up the entire plate... The worst was last night. I ordered béarnaise sauce and they brought me salad dressing. They forgot a main course and a dessert, just like last week when my son ordered a rare steak and it arrived overcooked. They brought us a Schweppes when we were expecting a cocktail. Last night there were two of us, and it cost €73 for two dishes where there was more salad than anything else, where the frozen fries were tasteless, and two chocolate mousses where the ice cream was also tasteless. So (last time for us).

Never disappointed. Fast service. Very friendly waitresses. I recommend it. We go there regularly. We never get tired of it.

Excellent as usual, we left with full stomachs

We came as a group of four and we ate very well and were served quickly.
