Don’t be fooled by the unassuming look of this place — you can get an excellent meal here at a reasonable price. The chef does hearty, traditional French cuisine, and the mark–ups on local wines are not excessive (an added bonus). When I first moved to the area, I ate the daily lunch menu every weekday, and I was amazed by the variety. It is getting harder and harder to find a dependable bistrot which serves fresh produce, but this place is solid. Recommended.
