La Brasserie du Chateau sur Rueil-Malmaison

We had a wonderful evening. The entire meal was superb.

The food was quite good, but the prices were a bit high for the whole meal. Especially the starter and the dessert (chocolate feuillantine), which didn't seem to be fresh. On the other hand, the service and welcome were very good.

Usually good, but quite disappointed this time. Very (too) slow service, wrong order. What a shame…

The Brasserie du Château is magical! During a dinner in August 2025, in the lovely veranda, we received a warm welcome from Delphine and Steve, and Charlotte, our kind waitress. We enjoyed very fresh, delicious fried calamari, perfectly fried and coated in a light and refined sesame seed batter! Then came Royan ravioli with cream sauce—everything is homemade with passion and a vibrant array of colors! Even the daily specials and the signature menu are always fresh, varied, and original, with a beautiful and sophisticated presentation! From fresh lobsters straight from the tank to perfectly shucked seafood and oysters, the well-accompanied fish and meat dishes, and the desserts, we were charmed! The atmosphere is very welcoming and family-friendly, always with a smile and a sense of humor! There's something for every budget, offering a menu that combines both land and sea! Highly recommended! However, grumpy customers should probably stay away and go chop wood in the forest – it would be a real vacation for everyone! Considering the location, the prices remain affordable. The food is very good and the service is friendly.

A fantastic place to celebrate a 90th birthday with family (17) in the private room. The welcome was excellent, the food was incredibly delicious and generous (especially the desserts!), and the service was very warm. A complete success.

The food was mediocre. The wines were very expensive.
