La Brise sur Saintes-Maries-De-La-Mer

The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Points were deducted for the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, and the pitches could be better maintained. It's a very good starting point for exploring the nature reserve with its many flamingos. The town center is also within easy walking distance, which is a plus. The town itself is very touristy and not particularly attractive. The beach isn't well-maintained either. However, we were there over Easter, so it was the off-season. It's also a shame that many dog ​​owners don't keep their dogs on leashes, resulting in frequent dog messes on the beach and promenade. But the campsite can't be held responsible for that.

Pleasant campsite, near the beach and certainly within walking distance to the center.

This campsite is strategically located for visiting the Camargue. The campsite is quite large, with generously sized pitches ranging from 80m² to 100m². It's conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the town center. The facilities are clean, although a bit dated. There's a mini-market (very small) and a snack bar serving hot meals and pizza. There's no real restaurant, though the proximity to the town and its restaurants helps. The staff is helpful. Overall, highly recommended. Bus service is available just a short walk from the campsite, providing access to various destinations.

We stayed at this campsite with our campervan. The site is very well-maintained and the pitches are spacious enough. However, if you have a longer campervan, you should avoid a middle pitch due to the trees. The campsite is right by the sea. The beach is beautiful, with plenty of sand. Be warned: if your weather app shows a storm warning, you can expect to get sandblasted on the beach 😅. The beach itself has several coves and is very idyllic. It's also ideal for children, as the water isn't consistently deep. Perfect for building sandcastles. There are also plenty of seashells to collect. From the campsite, you can cycle along the dunes; again, be mindful of the wind. Here you can see the flamingos and Camargue horses typical of the area. This year there are an unusually large number of mosquitoes, so remember to bring plenty of insect repellent. There are lots of games and activities for children at the campsite. The sanitary facilities are very clean! In Saintes Marie de la Mer, events featuring Camargue horses and bulls are held regularly in the arena starting in April. The temperatures we experienced (from late March to early April) ranged between 14 and 20 degrees Celsius. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We would love to return if we ever feel like visiting the South of France again.

No one speaks Italian at reception, despite the numerous staff present. The campsite is crowded for Easter, but not all facilities are open. Avoid the bar area due to very loud music in the evenings. Omnipresent and invasive mosquitoes at all hours make it difficult to stay outside. Close to the center and close to the beach.

Twice for us, and just as enjoyable each time, despite the wind during our stay. We'll be back next year.

We stayed here (as we have many times before) to kick off our season with our campervan. We really like the campsite; the reception is friendly and straightforward. The location on the beach is beautiful, and the town of Saintes Maries de la Mer is always worth a visit. 👍 We'll gladly come back again - merci la brise 🦩🌊🌞!

The campsite is very clean and well-maintained, as is the mobile home. The shop/snack bar is open all day, even in the off-season. The village is within walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with my dog; it was very relaxing. Perhaps the dog fee could be used more effectively by providing dog waste bags. It seems not everyone is aware that dogs are supposed to pick up after themselves and dispose of their waste properly. There are plenty of bins, both on and off the campsite.
