A small, unpretentious restaurant in the market hall. The veal axoa was decent and quite generous. The only real downside, besides the fact they don't accept menus, is the steep price. Sure, it's Saint-Jean-de-Luz, in the market hall, but €65 for a glass of white wine, a pitcher of cider, oysters, a ribeye steak, and a veal axoa is a bit steep for a typical little bistro.

While visiting the market hall on market day, we immediately spotted this establishment, which stood out for its location and decor. The menus immediately appealed to us. A warm welcome, impeccable service, a very intimate and authentic dining room… that's what we loved. The dishes were flawless, and the cider… 👌. We highly recommend it.

We arrived just as the market was about to close. We ordered some tortilla pinchos, which were delicious. We went to order ratatouille, but the waiter recommended something better. The cod came in a huge dish that we had to share between the two of us—it was fantastic!

11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome. The menu was truly local, and we loved it. The portions were generous and delicious. A truly excellent restaurant; from the authentic local decor to the food itself, everything was superb... Not to mention the very reasonable price, which was in line with the average. In any case, I highly recommend this place for enjoying local cuisine in a lovely setting.
05/04/2026: I came all the way from Barcelona and it was totally worth it. The seafood is incredibly fresh and it really shows in the flavor. Without a doubt, some of the best I've ever had, 100/100.
