La cabane du berger sur Osani

A short stopover in Girolata, with incredibly friendly and efficient service! The location is absolutely magical! It feels like you're at the ends of the earth. They are very attentive to the quality of their service.

There were four of us—siblings and a brother-in-law—and on Saturday, the menu included squid with parsley and garlic, and linguine with squid and parsley (the same dish twice!). It didn't make sense. The portions were enormous and without vegetables, but very tasty. It would have been better to use half the amount of squid, perhaps accompanied by a chestnut and potato purée (a local option). On the other hand, the two desserts offered were beautiful and delicious! Worthy of a pastry chef! Imagine my surprise when, after asking to congratulate the person who made the desserts, a very talented young cook emerged from the kitchen! She's a real talent! I also chatted with the very friendly and courageous owner. At 75, he's still there to support his lovely daughter, who is just as charming as her father and is destined to take over the business. A very good restaurant on the rise; you'd think you were in the Caribbean!
