La cabane du berger sur Osani

A wonderful stop in Girolata! We had a fantastic meal at La Cabane du Berger, with delicious dishes and excellent value for money. The staff are particularly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, making for a very pleasant experience. The setting is truly superb and unique: eating in the heart of nature, surrounded by cows, adds a lot of charm and is an integral part of the Girolata experience! The only slight drawback: the furniture really needs updating. The chairs and tables are quite old, and some seemed a bit unstable. We weren't always very comfortable, with the feeling that the furniture might give way or cause us to fall. It's a shame because with some newer, more comfortable furnishings, the experience would be truly perfect. Nevertheless, it remains a very good place to eat, with pleasant cuisine, reasonable prices, a lovely team, and above all, an exceptional setting. We had a wonderful time!

Good morning, The person at the bar who took my payment and served my drinks, which I had collected from the counter, was very pleasant and welcoming. However, please pass on the message to your staff to avoid sticking their tongues out and rolling their eyes when welcoming customers for lunch at 1:30 PM. Given their attitude, we preferred to stop after our drinks and refrain from ordering anything else. I'm not penalizing them with a lower rating because we are also in the restaurant business, and the goal is not to penalize the effort put into the restaurant, which has a very nice setting and dishes that looked quite appealing. I had high expectations for this place. And I was disappointed; in the end, we had dessert elsewhere. The servers and the overall atmosphere were fine. The service was quick, and perhaps that was the problem... It smelled like reheated food. If I closed my eyes, I wouldn't be able to say I ate octopus... more like chicken. And especially a lot of arugula. The cuttlefish was overcooked... The children's menu was the usual frozen nuggets and fries. 80 euros for one children's menu (nuggets and fries), one Coke, one iced tea, one glass of wine, and two main courses. No starter, no dessert. I was expecting certain flavors based on the Instagram... but I was disappointed...

I don't recommend it. There were four of us. Two dishes arrived fairly quickly, but the other two arrived 20 minutes later because we told the waitress. The staff was very mixed. Sometimes friendly, sometimes very unpleasant. The food was average. I don't recommend it.

A very pleasant experience at this restaurant. Despite the large number of covers they can serve, the staff are attentive and the portions are generous.

We had a Corsican platter to share as a starter, followed by a fillet of sea bass with vegetables. It was delicious. The setting is idyllic! With our friends the cows putting on a show!
