La Cabanne sur Murat-Le-Quaire

Très bonne adresse. Menu à 25 euros copieux. Serveuse très pro. Salle dans laquelle on peut admirer le paysage des montagnes. Rien à redire.

Stopped at a nearby campervan area, we had lunch there. Good welcome, beautiful view, very well eaten (excellent truffade). Fair prices for quality and quantity. To recommend !

After a good and (still beautiful!!) hike to the Banne d'Ordanche, we stopped here, in this very well located and quiet hotel restaurant. The truffade is EXCELLENT and the hotelier takes great care. This hotel restaurant deserves to be known!

Great welcome. Very well equipped to accommodate horses: nearby hitch bar and grassy paddock 👍. Excellent dinner and breakfast. I recommend this stop.

We came to have a drink with the family accompanied by a mixed board, very warm welcome, it makes you want to come back

Acceuil très sympa, déco vieillotte mais ça fait le taf comme le resto s'appelle la Cabane, plats très garnis un peu trop mais ce n'est qu'une impression perso, sauce au bleu, rallongée peut être. Sinon très bon moment, sympa le pain excellent, les fromages très bons le fournol au top. On reviendra pour être comme à la maison. Merci

Second time I've eaten there, still just as good and at a very reasonable price of ~25€ given the quality of the service and the dishes. Truffade revisited which does not seem to please everyone based on the reviews but which, I find, is much more digestible and tasty; excellent dessert. Very beautiful panorama in the restaurant room and a stone's throw from a pond, perfect for a digestive stroll. Not having slept there I can't say anything about the accommodation but the address has been recommended for at least 6 years by the backpacker's guide. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area, it is worth the detour.

Very good food, nicely presented, and a very friendly innkeeper. What more do you want. Absolutely to suggest.
