A beautiful cove, but very small and extremely crowded! No shade except in one spot for a few towels.

A pleasant spot. Parking is relatively easy on the street if the lot at the back is full. The beach isn't very big and is located below a restaurant that I recommend. It's safe to swim there.

Very pretty scenery. The eagle's beak is impressive. It's a shame the beach isn't really a beach. Small, crowded, and pebbly, it looks more like it's been recently redeveloped.

Beautiful bay. But it is very crowded. Note that it is a stone beach. So bring something soft. There is a restaurant. So bring something soft to sit on.

There's a lot of talk about the calanques of Cassis, which are all very pretty, but this one on the La Ciotat side is really worth the detour.
