We arrived at the end of service, but honestly, the welcome was excellent! The snails are a must-try—they're very original! The oysters are delicious, and the dessert (strawberry and mint soup) was divine! If we ever return, we will!
Until now, we'd been snacking on a bowl of smelt with a beer on our way back from the market. Today, we had lunch at La Camaraderie. I opted for the fish and chips. Everything is homemade and of exceptional quality and freshness. The fish was fresh and breaded just before cooking. Delicious homemade fries. I also had a gourmet coffee. I thought it was expensive (€8.60), but when I saw the variety of desserts and the quality of everything being homemade, I thought it was worth trying. The waiter explained how everything is homemade, and it was nice to know how he makes his little chocolate fondant 😋. A hidden gem to discover.
My partner had the seafood sauerkraut (the dish of the day). He wasn't disappointed either.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
