La Camaraderie sur Saint-Pierre-D'Oleron

We arrived at the end of service, but honestly, the welcome was excellent! The snails are a must-try—they're very original! The oysters are delicious, and the dessert (strawberry and mint soup) was divine! If we ever return, we will!

Very, very, very pleasant. Right across from the St. Pierre market. I like it a lot.

Until now, we'd been snacking on a bowl of smelt with a beer on our way back from the market. Today, we had lunch at La Camaraderie. I opted for the fish and chips. Everything is homemade and of exceptional quality and freshness. The fish was fresh and breaded just before cooking. Delicious homemade fries. I also had a gourmet coffee. I thought it was expensive (€8.60), but when I saw the variety of desserts and the quality of everything being homemade, I thought it was worth trying. The waiter explained how everything is homemade, and it was nice to know how he makes his little chocolate fondant 😋. A hidden gem to discover. My partner had the seafood sauerkraut (the dish of the day). He wasn't disappointed either. I highly recommend this restaurant!
