15/08/2026: We came as a group of four after booking a table for our last day of vacation on the Île d'Oléron. The menu was simple but had something to please everyone. The dishes were very generous and high quality, and the young waitress served us very well. We started with a platter as an appetizer, followed by two excellent and generously topped burgers, a Burrata salad with delicious ingredients, chicken tinder, and a cordon bleu. We had a truly wonderful meal, especially considering it was our first time dining at your restaurant. We'll definitely be back for our next vacation and highly recommend this great place.

21/08/2026: A fantastic discovery this evening while we were just passing through! The pizzas were superb, as was the warm welcome we received from Nathalie and Bruno! Thank you for stopping by! The pizzas are delicious, with thin crusts and high-quality ingredients – a far cry from those pizza boxes! We can't wait to go back down to Cap Ferret to try other pizzas on the menu! 12/07/2026: DELICIOUS!!! We tasted the raspberry and pear tarts: absolutely divine!!! The quality of the ingredients, expertly prepared by a chef, brings out the full flavor of the fruit, a true delight for our taste buds. When excellence rhymes with elegance, bravo for your artistic creations, as beautiful as they are delicious.

05/09/2026: We arrived as a group of 14 (9 adults and 5 children) around 9 pm. The establishment was completely empty. We simply asked if they could accommodate us.
The two people at the reception desk barely glanced at us and told us that a table for 14 wasn't possible. We explained that we could be spread out across several tables. The response, still without any explanation, was: "No, no, it's impossible."
We can understand that an establishment might not want to, or be able to, accommodate a group of that size. However, the way we were received was frankly deplorable. No greeting, barely a glance, no explanation, and a particularly cold tone.
A little politeness and consideration for customers costs nothing. We left very disappointed, not so much because we couldn't eat there, but mainly because of the way we were received.
01/09/2026: I had a good meal, but the comment from the person I asked for a detailed bill from was simply inappropriate.
Too bad, I won't be back.

The monkfish curry was superb.
Don't judge this restaurant by its exterior; the interior is a very pleasant surprise, impeccably clean and beautifully decorated.
The staff were very friendly.
01/09/2026: Today it's difficult to find restaurants with good, tasty, and varied cuisine... but not only that... LA PERGOLA surprised us. Very good, flavorful food, a real pleasure.

11/09/2026: Thanks to Julien and his whole team for their good cheer; our café has been like this for a very long time. The only downside is finding a seat for an aperitif; it's a victim of its own success, so you have to keep an eye out. Very nice terrace.

24/08/2026: Excellent food, but a bit pricey. The restaurant was empty the day we had lunch. The waitress was very friendly.
23/08/2026: €340 for 5 people, including aperitifs and wine. Four starters, main courses, desserts, and one main course. The appetizer platter was more like a survival meal, and the same goes for the main courses. You won't find any Ricard, Coke, or other commercial drinks. Furthermore, we were swarmed by mosquitoes even though we were in the dark. I strongly advise against going there.

13/09/2026: What a disappointment! We used to come regularly until 2016 because it was a great place. But tonight was a complete disaster: sitting by the door inside, we watched as they microwaved the tasteless dishes. How awful! Everything was deplorable: the aperitif had barely been served when the starters arrived: very ordinary smoked salmon and shredded salt cod without sorbet because they were out of it and hadn't replaced it, so it was very dry and disappointing. Then, as soon as the plates were cleared, the worst was served: boiled octopus, microwaved right in front of us, served on boiled potatoes, and three pieces of fish resembling shark, microwaved and served with ultra-dry rice. In short, it was bad, really bad. I didn't believe the bad reviews from this summer, but I can confirm them. What happened to this once-great establishment? The Gault & Millau 2026 guide is giving me serious cause for concern. Luckily the waitress was nice.
