26/03/2026: A very pleasant place, both in terms of the dining room and decor. The cuisine is refined and elegant. The ingredients are exceptionally fresh, and the broth served as a starter was delicious. The dry-aged beef was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive. A special mention for the diamond shortbread with coffee – a delightful discovery.

10/04/2026: Here, it's not the view that people come to judge, but the food!
The food is excellent, and, quite rare especially in a touristy spot like Oléron, the fries are fresh!
The cooking is perfectly executed, the dishes are cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous!
You won't see the sea from your seat, but it's not far away!
I recommend booking a table on the terrace, which is sheltered from the wind and well laid out, so you'll have plenty of space (a welcome change from the sardine-like atmosphere of other seaside restaurants).
A must-try for a romantic meal, a family outing, or a get-together with friends!

With a bit of luck, you might snag a seat at the counter overlooking the harbor.
When will they open a branch in Alsace? 😁

The food is excellent and the service is superb. I recommend it 200%! Perfect value for money!
I recommend making a reservation as it's a very good restaurant and very popular.

25/03/2026: We were just passing through the island and stopped by to order pizzas for dinner.
The new owners (since July 2025) offer pizzas made with professional flours, hand-kneaded dough, homemade sauces, and even Thai dishes on weekends.
This is a place not to be missed; the pizzas are generous, and the owner is friendly and helpful.
I highly recommend it.
If we're ever back, we'll definitely try the Thai dishes on a weekend!

01/02/2026: We rented a bungalow last summer in this park, booking directly with the owner.
It was very well-equipped and reasonably priced.
The complex was quiet, the pool was lovely and clean, and the grounds were beautifully landscaped. Located in the center of the island, it's a convenient base for exploring. Shops are easily accessible. I highly recommend it.

11/03/2026: The semi-cooked foie gras was absolutely delicious, served with a big smile. The rest of the meal—a braised lamb shoulder—was very good, as was the caramelized apple pavlova with vanilla ice cream! We'll be back to enjoy the terrace this summer!

28/12/2025: Until now, we'd been snacking on a bowl of smelt with a beer on our way back from the market. Today, we had lunch at La Camaraderie. I opted for the fish and chips. Everything is homemade and of exceptional quality and freshness. The fish was fresh and breaded just before cooking. Delicious homemade fries. I also had a gourmet coffee. I thought it was expensive (€8.60), but when I saw the variety of desserts and the quality of everything being homemade, I thought it was worth trying. The waiter explained how everything is homemade, and it was nice to know how he makes his little chocolate fondant 😋. A hidden gem to discover.
My partner had the seafood sauerkraut (the dish of the day). He wasn't disappointed either.
I highly recommend this restaurant!
