10/04/2026: Here, it's not the view that people come to judge, but the food! The food is excellent, and, quite rare especially in a touristy spot like Oléron, the fries are fresh! The cooking is perfectly executed, the dishes are cooked to perfection, and the portions are generous! You won't see the sea from your seat, but it's not far away! I recommend booking a table on the terrace, which is sheltered from the wind and well laid out, so you'll have plenty of space (a welcome change from the sardine-like atmosphere of other seaside restaurants). A must-try for a romantic meal, a family outing, or a get-together with friends!

The pizza was delicious and generous, made with quality ingredients and fresh dough. Thank you for providing service within a reasonable timeframe, considering the circumstances of that evening (power outage on April 27th).

15/05/2026: Excellent experience! We shared a Cøti platter for two, it was impeccably fresh and beautifully presented. The coconut pearls and mochi ice cream for dessert were perfect. The manager is super friendly, full of jokes and great advice. A warm welcome from start to finish. We were delighted!

16/05/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly wonderful experience at Crescendo Restaurant. From the moment we arrived, a woman greeted us with a smile and great kindness, always ready to help. The kitchen staff were also very friendly, available, and attentive to the customers. The manager was also very pleasant and professional. Everything is very well organized to ensure that customers are dazzled and have a wonderful time. And kudos to the unsung heroes behind the scenes! I highly recommend this establishment.

31/03/2026: My wife and I have driven past this chocolate factory for years, always saying we'd stop next time. This year we finally made it happen, and it was a fantastic decision. Such a wonderful, creamy, and uniquely flavorful explosion of taste, triggered by a hot chocolate, was a truly exceptional moment of indulgence. What's more, we were able to enjoy it together in the beautiful, tastefully decorated café. The icing on the cake was the owner's offer to let us finish the pot of leftover chocolate. We bought some pralines and enjoyed them that same evening as dessert—absolutely delicious. A glass of Otard Extra 1795 Cognac completed the perfect indulgence.

12/05/2026: First visit since the change of ownership, and what a disappointment it was. We were a table of nine, and the dishes we ordered were quite varied, but unfortunately, the quality (and especially the quantity!) didn't match the price. - The flank steaks (which were good, by the way) weighed no more than 100g and were served with about fifteen fries practically fighting each other on gigantic plates, without even a single lettuce leaf to try and hide the emptiness, all for nearly €18. - The cuttlefish was very good, no complaints there, but 5-6 strips of 2-3 cm is simply ridiculous for the price. - The spare ribs were very good and a generous portion. We didn't order dessert, given the enormous disappointment with the other dishes. We were regulars, and unfortunately, like all good things, it has come to an end.

23/05/2026: What a wonderful discovery this restaurant was! We managed, after a bit of a struggle but with the owners' kindness, to snag two reservations for lunch. A mix of the set menu and à la carte options allowed us to fully appreciate the quality of the food and wines. It's now marked in red on our list of favorite spots.

18/05/2026: A bit disappointed, the swordfish was tasteless and served with a cold sauce... the crème brûlée was more like a simple egg custard... the restaurant has declined compared to its past. A good point for the young, dedicated, and efficient waitress.

10/05/2026: Overrated restaurant. Very expensive for the quality and quantity. For example: The langoustines were good, but there were only 5 slices of potato and 2g of bacon for a "rustic" touch. The dessert was disappointing. Amateurish service. €150 for 4 people and leaving hungry is unacceptable.
