La Campagne sur Varennes-Changy

Very nice people and the food was certainly ok but not worth 4.6 in my opinion. I also wonder whether the dishes in the photos are still served here.

For our 6th year of marriage, we had the immense pleasure of discovering this restaurant and I must say that the experience was perfect from start to finish. As soon as we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and the complimentary appetizer added a much appreciated touch to start our meal on a gourmet note. As a starter, I enjoyed a goat's cheese nougat whose subtle flavors and perfect balance between sweet and salty surprised me. For the main course, the bone marrow and cromesquis were deliciously prepared, with a refined presentation that whet the appetite at first glance. The work carried out in the kitchen with seasonal products is worthy of the greatest goldsmiths. A carefully selected cheese plate, accompanied by blackberry jelly and a salad. While the lemon mousse on crumble, served as dessert, was a real journey of flavors and closed this feast on a light and refreshing note. The service was impeccable: attentive, considerate and smiling. The presentation of the dishes was worthy of a great restaurant and every detail was taken care of. The pleasant and friendly atmosphere, as well as the refined decoration, added an undeniable charm to the overall experience. Special mention to the original dishes served as a starter, true works of art! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious time. The prices are fair, and the portions are generous. I can't wait to go back to discover other flavors!

Passing through Varennes Changy for All Saints' Day in cold weather, we warmed up with the delicious dishes offered and the warm welcome from the family team. The passion, the desire to share the pleasure of cooking, the simplicity allowed us to spend a pleasant time with my mother for this day of flowering the graves. We left with lighter hearts and full bellies. I recommend this restaurant where you want to cook local and seasonal products, all served on ceramic plates made by a local artist too (Sylviane Hericotte). Thank you again for this moment.

We took advantage of gastronomy month to celebrate a birthday in this beautiful restaurant. We had a friendly and pleasant time and were able to appreciate flavors that I am not used to eating. Don't hesitate to come and enjoy a unique meal on a perfectly controlled budget.

After a disappointing mushroom picking we went for lunch in this restaurant. We were very well received by Estelle, smiling and full of humor. The meal was very good and above all very plentiful... don't have breakfast before 😆 Especially if you can, stop by, you won't be disappointed 😊
